Những đóng góp mới của luận án:
– Kết quả của đề tài luận án là những số liệu lần đầu được công bố năng suất sinh sản của lợn nái lai có 1/4 giống VCN-MS15 (Landrace × (Pietrain × VCN-MS15 và Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15), và năng suất và chất lượng thịt của các tổ hợp lai có 1/8 giống VCN-MS15 (Pietrain × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)], Duroc × [Landrace × (Pietrain × VCN-MS15)], PIC280 × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)], PIC399 × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)]) nuôi bằng thức ăn công nghiệp trong điều kiện tự nhiên ở Thừa Thiên Huế.

– Kết quả của đề tài luận án làm cơ sở khoa học cho các nhà quản lý và nhà chăn nuôi lựa chọn tổ hợp lai có giống VNC-MS15 phù hợp vào thực tế sản xuất góp phần nâng cao năng suất và hiệu quả kinh tế trong điều kiện sản xuất ở Thừa Thiên Huế cũng như miền Trung nước ta.Ngoài ra, thông tin khoa học của đề tài luận án còn là cơ sở dữ liệu tốt cho giảng dạy và nghiên cứu về giống lợn mới, VCN-MS15.

NEW CONTRIBUTION OF THE THESIS’S STUDY
– The results of the thesis are the first published data of reproductive performance of crossbred sows with 1/4 VCN-MS15 breed including  (Landrace × (Pietrain × VCN-MS15 and Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15), and meat yield and quality of crossbred pigs with 1/8 VCN-MS15 breed including (Pietrain × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)], Duroc × [Landrace × (Pietrain × VCN-MS15)] , PIC280 × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)], PIC399 × [Landrace × (Duroc × VCN-MS15)]) fed with commercial feed under natural conditions in Thua Thien Hue province. 

– The results of the dissertation serve as a scientific basis for managers and producer to choose and apply suitable crossbreeds with VNC-MS15 breed into producing to improve reproductive performance, meat yield and quality as well as economic efficiency in pig production in Thua Thien Hue province and central Vietnam. In addition, the scientific information of the thesis is also a good database for teaching and researching on new breed of pigs of VCN-MS15.
